History of the Saint Joseph's Golf Classic

For 19 years, the Saint Joseph's Golf Classic has been a very successful event, with  participants raising more than $200,000 for Saint Joseph’s programs and sevrices. We hope that with your help we will be able to have yet another great event to help Saint Joseph’s in its community outreach. 

Each year WINGS (Workers Involved in New Growth for Saint Joseph’s) volunteers help support the caring mission of Saint Joseph's Hospital by raising mission-sustaining funds through volunteer fundraising events. Founded in 1989, WINGS is represented by more than 100 dedicated individuals whose personal commitment is powerful. WINGS members are ambassadors to the community, as they heighten the awareness of Saint Joseph’s and its work. Since 1990, WINGS has raised $4 million for Mercy Care Services. Many members are involved in various projects for Saint Joseph’s, including assisting the poor and homeless, conducting annual blanket, shoe, coat and toiletry drives to support the homeless outreach mission of Mercy Care Services.
