Mark your calendar and plan to join us for the First Annual Men’s Health & Wellness Expo on Saturday, June 14, 2008, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Saint Joseph’s Carroll Conference & Education Center. Download and print the Expo brochure.
This full-day community education program is free to the public and features a variety of physicians and other health care experts on health and wellness-related topics. Sessions throughout the day will explore how to prevent illness as you age and how nutrition, exercise and stress specifically affect your body’s ability to function in the areas of heart health, prostate health, digestive health, bone health and diabetes prevention.
There will be free health screenings offered throughout the day to both men and women. Screenings include:
- Blood Pressure
- Cholesterol
- Blood sugar
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Bone Density
- Free voucher for a PSA (prostate specific antigen) test & DRE (digital rectal exam) by appointment with an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist from Saint Joseph’s

Advanced registration is strongly suggested but there will be limited same day registration. Attendance is free, however to reserve your place, a check for $10 is required. Your check will be returned at check-in on the day of the event unless you choose to donate it to further the work of the Men’s Health & Wellness Center at Saint Joseph’s. Seating is limited to the first 200 registrants. Please register by June 6, 2008.
