Our Mission
The mission of Saint Joseph’s Health System is to further the healing ministry of the Church and the Sisters of Mercy: to improve the well-being of the communities we serve by promoting health and providing health-related services. To achieve this mission, Saint Joseph’s Health System will understand and respond to evolving health needs with compassion and clinical excellence, and will recognize the intrinsic dignity and infinite value of all persons, both those we serve and those who serve. This mission gives tangible expression to Christ’s merciful love toward all those who suffer or are in need. We are aware of a special obligation to respond to and advocate for the health needs of the poor and underserved. Through this mission, Saint Joseph’s Health System participates in the commitment of the Sisters of Mercy to relieve misery and address its causes.
