The Men's Health and Wellness Center at Saint Joseph's Hospital
The Men’s Health and Wellness Center (MHWC) at Saint Joseph's is a couples-based comprehensive men’s health initiative for those who have been affected by a health crisis such as cancer. The MHWC is a non-profit organization guided by men who are surviving prostate and other cancers and wish to use their health crisis as an opportunity to explore positive and healthy lifestyle changes.
The Center offers a range of complementary and integrative programs and support services addressing issues of nutrition, exercise, couples communication and stress reduction through meditation and yoga.
We believe that surviving cancer, as with other chronic illnesses, is a journey. While certainly unplanned, the journey contains many new experiences. Many people use the experience as an opportunity to live healthier with a more deliberate focus on health and wellness. The MHWC is here to educate, support and encourage you in the healthy lifestyle changes that you are making and offer you a variety of ways to participate so you can get the support you need to sustain these changes.
Whether you are new to this journey or have been traveling it a while, we applaud your commitment to health and wellness and welcome you to the Men’s Health and Wellness Center at Saint Joseph’s.
