Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta (SJHA) announces the opening of Saint Joseph’s Imaging Center Gwinnett. Located at 755 Walther Road, Suite 101, in Lawrenceville, the new facility expands the reach of Saint Joseph’s technology and resources beyond that of the main Sandy Springs campus to provide leading edge care in the backyard of many northern corridor patients.
Saint Joseph’s Imaging Center Gwinnett features a 64-Slice General Electric CT Scanner that can be used to diagnose patients from multiple service lines, including: cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, ear nose and throat (ENT), and gastrointestinal (GI). The GE CT is extremely fast, with most scans lasting between 5 and 10 minutes.
“By creating this new site, we are building on Saint Joseph’s 130 year mission to continue providing affordable, accessible, community care” says Bradley Tate, Manager of Business Development and Planning at SJHA. “As the metro-Atlanta area continues to sprawl, this addition allows us to better meet the needs of our Gwinnett patients by making our technology and expertise convenient to where they live and work.”
Saint Joseph’s Imaging Center Gwinnett also provides Gwinnett physicians with flexible scheduling, exam pre-certification, remote access to images and reports via PACS, and will accommodate walk-ins and same day add-ons. Maintaining the standards of excellence patients and physicians expect from Saint Joseph’s Hospital, all images are interpreted by onsite Saint Joseph’s subspecialty radiologists.
