In keeping with the Sisters of Mercy philosophy of healing, Saint Joseph's is committed to responding to each patient's emotional, social and spiritual needs. Patient and family counseling, pastoral care, special support groups, social services and a formal ethics resource committee also are all considered integral components of treatment and care.

A nursing director, who will visit you during your stay, is responsible for each patient care area. Please feel free to seek out the director for questions or concerns you may have that are not addressed to your satisfaction by your nurse or physician.
